About Us
Sushi Den has been on the vanguard and regarded as one of the premier sushi and Japanese restaurants in the United States since opening Christmas 1984. Independently owned and operated, Sushi Den continually raises the bar and sets the standard for high quality cuisine.
Sushi Den was born in 1985 when Toshi, who had been a chef in Tokyo and Los Angeles came to Denver to start the sushi restaurant. Toshi is the heart and soul of Sushi Den. Although soft-spoken, he communicates with the senses. Sushi Den is a feast for the eyes as well as the palette, and is the gathering place of Denver’s cutting edge.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Toshi continuously raises the bar and sets the standard for high quality sushi, not only in Denver but throughout the United States.

Our youngest brother lives a few minutes away from the fish market in the city of Fukuoka on the southernmost island of Japan.
